So much talk this year about 2020 vision since we have a special year!
Clarity 2020 Vision
I’m walking into 2020 with a crystal clear heart & mind.
If you owe me anything don’t worry about it and you are welcome.
If you’ve wronged me in any way in the past, then that’s ok.
A lesson has been learnt.
If you’re angry with me, then you’ve won! Congratulations.
If we are not speaking then that’s ok life goes on and I wish you the absolute best and send nothing but love and happiness your way.
If you feel I’ve wronged you then I apologise deeply.
If you’re sitting there waiting for me to fail, then don’t hold your breath – you’ll have an extremely long wait.
I’ve already overcome more than you can imagine in my life.
Now I’m fully focusing on making my life better. ~ anonymous
Freedom is EVERYTHING!
When I read the above writing, it sounded so freeing!
Many times I share here how we can’t control others. We can only control ourselves and how we choose to react to them.
As I read each line, it reminded me that others are who they are. I can only focus on myself.
It’s definitely time…
This is a photo of me at an eyeglass place trying on glasses when I was out with a friend. It was actually kind of fun.
It’s definitely time for new glasses for me. Not sure if these are the ones for me and yet I thought this photo is appropriate for our topic today.
What is your vision for 2020?
Where is your focus?
On others that you cannot control OR…. yourself, so that you can start feeling better about a situation you can’t control?
Sending you much love and compassion, Elda

That DOES feel freeing to let everything go and not carry it into the new year or new decade. It’s allowing me to pause and check in with myself to see what I need to let go of. Thank you.
I’m choosing to focus on shifting myself, knowing I can’t control others. I’ve found life is much more enjoyable when I do. Thank you for the opportunity to write my commitment here.

My pleasure, Julie! There is something special about publicly declaring our commitment to ourself, isn’t there?
Sending you great ‘cheers’ for continuing to find life enjoyable in this way!

If we lived with those statements every day of our lives, life would be so much happier, people would go around being so much freer, and your job would be so much easier!! Thank you for the focus. I have so many things on my list of want-to-do for 2020, but it has been a good year so far even though only just one month. Thank you for your encouragement that helped me get my blog started.

How wonderful that you’re experiencing a good year so far. Best wishes to you for achieving success with your 2020 list!

I’m definitely focusing on what I can control this year. With one kid in college and another on her way, I find it really hard to walk that line between control and support, but I can/will do it this year! The statements at the beginning of the post do free me from the baggage. Thanks for giving me the reminders!

You are most welcome! Glad to hear this resonated with you. I truly do believe emotional freedom carries us far.

I celebrate you Elda – what a wonderful manifesto to hold in your heart and express outward! There IS so much freedom in recognizing you’re sovereign, as is everyone else, and releasing all the limitations that bind you in connection. May we all gain clarity of vision in 2020 and find ourselves on paths of joy.

Oh, thank you Deborah!! So eloquently stated.
